Richard Kubicek of the Great Lakes Archaeological Research Center will present "Preliminary Report on the Continuing Excavations at the Finch Site in Jefferson County, Wisconsin."  Archaeological work starting in 2001 and continuing this summer is discovering evidence of thousands of years of human occupation at a site along Highway 26 between Milton and Fort Atkinson.  Learn about these discoveries from the project's principal investigator. 

This event is part of the monthly meeting of the Three Rivers Archaeologial Society, a chapter of the Wisconsin Archaeological Society and the Illinois Association for Advancement of Archaeology.

This event is free and open to the campus and community.
