From site: News & Events

Date: Friday, December 2nd, 2011

Time: 7:00 pm

Location: Moore Lounge, Pearsons Hall

Contact: , Student Advisor: Amy Sarno

Have you ever walked away from a situation in which you wished you had said something but instead chose to stay silent? Have you ever been in a situation where you felt oppressed by another person/group of people and didn't know how to handle it? Do you want to be a force of positive social change?

...Then you should come to Theater for Social Action's upcoming Rehearsal for Action!

Theater for Social Action is an unofficial theater troupe on the Beloit College campus that uses techniques from Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed to prompt discussion and solutions to social issues in our community. The theater is interactive in nature, allowing participants in the forum to rehearse solutions that could be used in “real life.”

This event is free and open to the campus and community.
