Description: A dramatic monologue play about women of color who experience life issues such as: Love, Abortion, Rape, Abandonment, Domestic Violence, etc! These powerful women are forced to be strong in a world full of injustice. The characters are seven chromatically differentiated women (brown, yellow, purple, red, green, blue and orange) from points across the country, who recite “dark phrases of womanhood” (the first words in the play) involving infanticide, incest and other horrors. These women share their stories, yet through the storm they find the sunshine at the end of a rainbow!
