Please join Beloit College's History department for a public lecture titled "More Than Freedom: Black Northerners and the Meaning of the Civil War," by Stephen Kantrowitz, University of Wisconsin-Madison and the second lecture in the series, "History of the Civil War," to honor the 150th anniversary of the U.S. Civil War.
The lecture series "History of the Civil War," is sponsored by the Beloit College department of History who will host three speakers from the Organization of American Distinguished Lectureship Program .
