Senior dance majors Mia Alcorn and Nora Anderson are producing a collaborative show presenting their most recent choreographic works. The show, titled, “Is this Modern?” “No, it’s Latin Jazz” “No, it’s Julie!” will include dances reworked from their sophomore-year choreography class to newly-created pieces. Alcorn, a dance and math double major, will present three pieces: a duet, a fun, lively quintet, and a dance presenting her math senior thesis. Anderson, a dance and anthropology double major, will present a new dance performed in three parts, and a duet performed by herself and Alcorn.
Alcorn and Anderson have been dancing together throughout their Beloit careers and are celebrating the end of the year with this final show.
This event is free and open to the campus and community.
