What do professors actually mean when they assign students to read chapter 4 and come to class prepared? 

Natalie Gummer will hosting a reading workshop to address this question. The workshop will help students better prepare for their classes by understanding the complexity of reading, an activity that requires thinking in such a way that one understands what others think.
