Harlo Hadow, Director of the Coe College Wilderness Field Station, will give a slide show about summer courses at the field station.  All interested students are invited.  Come enjoy an hour of summer sunshine in the Boundary Waters area!

The field station offers 4.5 week summer courses in ornithology, animal behavior, boreal mammalogy, advanced mammalian ecology, nature writing, environmental law, and comparative environmental politics. Pablo Toral will be teaching the politics course.

The field station is located adjacent to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.  Courses integrate lecture and laboratory investigation with field exploration conducted during canoe outings.  Numerous Beloit students have attended field station courses through years.  If you are teaching a course that enrolls students who might be interested in attending a field station course, Harlo would like to visit for 5-10 minutes to describe the opportunities available to students.  Contact Yaffa Grossman if you would like to host Harlo in you course.
