The public is invited to the first in a series of three City Center Seminars to be held this month and presented by Jeff Adams, Beloit College’s Allen-Bradley Professor of Economics.

Seminars will focus on redevelopment projects in Beloit’s downtown and city center since 1989, plans for its ongoing development through 2020, as well as the concept of the so-called “Ten Mile City” that  again from noon to 1:15 p.m. on: Thursday, Jan 17 and Jan 24.

The City Center seminar series brings to Vision Beloit individuals to present their perspective on the wealth and well-being of the places where we live. Topics will consist of both specific city center development issues as well as locating the city center within its region.

These seminars are free and open to the campus and community.
