Beloit College will play host to the classical Indian dance troupe whose style is rooted in Bharata Natyam. The troupe, based out of Chicago, uses dynamic body movement, rhythmic footwork, hand gestures and facial expressions to convey meaning and emotion to create rasa, the aesthetic experience that transforms the audience. Dancers will lead workshop classes open to both public.

An informal performance will be held Thursday, Sept. 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and is free and open to the campus and community.
