Last month a few Beloit College TRiO students held a meeting to inform the campus of  budget implemented by congress, cuts that are responsible for the termination of many TRiO programs around the nation. At the meeting we asked the community  to help us stop these cuts so TRiO programs at Beloit College will not be terminated as well.

The purpose of this meet and greet is two-fold:

1.  We want to give the Beloit College community, which includes students, administrators, and professors, an update of what has been done since the last meeting

2.  This is a chance for the rest of the campus to interact and talk to some of the current TRiO students. We figure that it will be easier for the campus to help out the TRiO programs if they found out how great we are.
