Come and learn about the inspiring work of one Beloit parent in Quito, Ecuador who turned despair into hope!

Mike Byrd is the father of David Byrd-Felker, a Beloit College student who went missing in Ecuador in 2002 and was never found.  Mike has retired from the faculty of UW-Madison to create David's Fund, supporting Ecuadorian students access and success in higher education.  He spends six months a year in Ecuador, working with Centro del Muchacho Trabajador, in Quito.
