Grinnell, IA -- The Beloit College Women's Tennis team finished up their regular season Saturday with a pair of matches at Grinnell College.
The Buccaneers fell to the host Pioneers 8-1 in their first match before dropping a 7-2 decision to Cornell College.
Paola Schnabel recorded Beloit's lone point against Grinnell, winning a three-set match at #6 Singles. Against Cornell, Trina Capelli won a three-set match at #1 Singles and Emma Koeppel won in straight sets at #5 Singles for the team's points.
The Buccaneers will compete at the Midwest Conference Doubles Championships next Saturday and at the Singles Championships on Sunday. Action begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
