Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Tennis team dropped a pair of matches at the Strong Complex Tennis Courts on Saturday as they closed out their regular season and the home careers of longtime Head Coach Bob Hodge and Assistant Coach J.P. Holloway.

The Bucs ran into a buzz-saw in the opener against Grinnell College, falling 9-0 to the undefeated Pioneers.

In the second match against St. Norbert College, Beloit fell 8-1, with the #2 Doubles team of Taylor Jones and Emma Beck scoring the lone point in the Midwest Conference North Division match.

Hodge finishes his 28-year career with 251 dual-match victories.

Beloit has a couple of weeks of practice before competing in the MWC Doubles and Singles Tournaments on October 15-16 at Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison.  The Doubles are played on Saturday and the Singles Sunday.
