Waukesha, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer battled the entire 90 minutes but fell at Carroll University 2-0 on Tuesday night.
The Pioneers held a 22-0 advantage in shots, including 13-0 in a scoreless first half.
CU finally broke the tie four-plus minutes into the second half. They closed out the scoring at 57:42 with a second goal.
Alex Spirov made 13 saves in net for the Bucs.
Beloit is back in action on Saturday when they play at Lawrence University in Appleton. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
