Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team fought back from a 2-0 first half deficit but then fell victim to a second half flurry as Ripon College won the Midwest Conference match at the Strong Complex Soccer Field 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Ripon jumped in front with scores at 20:48 and 28:19 to lead 2-0 at the half.  But the Bucs wasted little time evening it up in the second half.  Molly Dickson scored on a Gina Widmer assist at 49:53 and then Erin Chambers tallied unassisted less than two minutes later.

The Red Hawks re-took the lead at 67:05 and then iced it with a pair of quick scores at 80:06 and 81:34.

Beloit is back in action on Thursday when they travel to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to take on Lakeland College in a 4:30 p.m. contest.
