Bucs Score 2-1 Overtime Win at Wisconsin Lutheran

September 20, 2011 at 10:10 pm

Milwaukee, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team had to play a little longer but it was worth it for a 2-1 overtime win at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Tuesday night.

Molly Dickson got the Bucs going in the right direction 20 minutes into the game as Beloit grabbed the lead off assists from Emily Ebner and Camilla Jackson.

But WLC evened it up at 1-all five minutes later.  And that's how it stayed for the next 69 minutes.

Finally, at the 94:35 mark, Erin Chambers hit the back of the net unassisted to give the Buccaneers the win.

Alex Spirov made three saves in net for the victory.

The Bucs return to Midwest Conference play on Saturday afternoon when they host Ripon College at the Strong Complex Field.  Game time is at 1:00 p.m.
