Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team fell behind in the opening 31 minutes and couldn't rebound in a 5-1 loss at Cornell College on Sunday at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.
The Rams jumped out fron six minutes into the contest before the Buccaneers evened it at 1-all on a Joanne Cho's first collegiate goal, assisted by Molly Dickson, at 17:18.
But that was all the Bucs would get while Cornell added goals at 19:50, 30:24 and 31:20 to lead 4-1 at the break. CC closed out the scoring at 64:59.
Beloit will look to rebound as they open Midwest Conference play at the Strong Complex on Thursday against Lake Forest College. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
