Milwaukee, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team got in the "W" column for the first time this season on Thursday night with a 4-0 win over Alverno College in Milwaukee.
Molly Dickson struck for a hat trick while Devin Mandell scored her first collegiate goal to lead the attack. Alex Spirov made four saves for her first collegiate win and shutout.
Dickson's outburst moved her into second place on both the career goals scored list with 33 and the career points list with 74. She trails Angela Molnar (99-02) in both categories.
Mandell put the Bucs up for good four minutes into the contest off an assist from Monica Norton. Dickson got her first goal, assisted by Erin Chambers, just over a minute later and then got her second goal on a penalty kick at 20:58 to give Beloit a 3-0 lead at the half.
Dickson got the hat trick with just under four minutes left off an assist from Gina Widmer.
The Bucs look to continue their momentum on Sunday at the Strong Complex Soccer Field when they host Cornell College. Game time is at 1:00 p.m.
