Dickson Earns Second-Team All-MWC Honors

Ripon, WI – Junior forward Molly Dickson is the Beloit College Women’s Soccer team’s representative on the 2010 All-Midwest Conference Women’s Soccer Team, earning Second Team honors.  The Conference Office released the team this afternoon.

Dickson led the Buccaneers in scoring for the third straight season with nine goals and two assists for 20 points.  Her nine goals gives her 28 in her three-season career, the fourth-most in Beloit history.  Her 63 career points put her fifth in that category. 

Dickson was a First-Team pick in 2009 and received Honorable Mention in 2008.  She was also named the team’s Offensive MVP for the second straight season.

Other award winners at the end-of-the-season banquet were senior defender Kiera Hayes Most Valuable Player and Defensive MVP; freshman midfielder Ellie Daniels and senior defender Kelsey Morse Co-Most Improved Player; freshman forward Camilla Jackson the Rookie of the Year; and junior defender Liz Ceperley the Sarah Wallbank Spirit Award recipient.

Beloit finished the 2010 season with a 3-12-2 overall record, 0-7-2 in MWC play.
