September 12, 2010 at 3:33 pm

Madison, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team continued to struggle putting the ball in the goal on Sunday afternoon in a 2-0 loss at Edgewood College.

After a scoreless opening half Edgewood finally broke through with a score just over a minute into the second half.  They added some insurance at 85:33 to close out the scoring.

The Buccaneers were out-shot 25-3 on the game.  Goalkeeper Kourtney Kingslien and the Beloit defense kept the Bucs close, Kingslien finishing with ten saves.

Beloit has the week off before getting back on the pitch next Saturday when they host Ripon College in a Midwest Conference game, beginning a four-game homestand.  Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m.
