Monmouth, IL -- The Beloit College Volleyball team earned themselves another shot at the Midwest Conference Tournament Championship, and the NCAA III automatic bid that comes with it, with a 3-1 win over Lake Forest College in the 2010 Tournament's first semifinal on Friday.
The Buccaneers will take on #4 seed St. Norbert College at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, their opponent in the Tourney Championship the last three seasons. SNC defeated #1 seed and host Monmouth College 3-1 in the second semifinal.
Beloit took down LFC 25-19, 25-18, 16-25, 25-17
Laura Toth led a powerful attack with 21 kills, followed by Mary Parker with 12 and Tess Jacquez with ten. Caitlin O'Leary had 36 assists.
Parker added three aces and also had a team-high 20 digs. Jacquez and McKenzie Falker added 14 digs apiece.
Toth also had six blocks in the match.
