Appleton, WI -- The Beloit College Volleyball team defeated Lawrence University 3-0 on Friday night in Appleton to secure a spot in next weekend's Midwest Conference Tournament.
Beloit closes it's regular season at St. Norbert College on Saturday afternoon, playing at 1:00 p.m. in De Pere. With SNC's loss to Lake Forest College on Friday night the Tourney field is set. But Saturday's matches are for seeding. The Bucs, St. Norbert and Lake Forest are all 6-2. Lake Forest plays Lawrence on Saturday. Monmouth is already in at 7-2.
But back to Friday night. The Buccaneers won the match 25-23, 29-27, 25-21.
Mary Parker and Tess Jacquez each had 13 kills while Laura Toth had 11 to lead the attack. Caitlin O'Leary had 36 assists.
Parker also had a team-high 15 digs. O'Leary had 13, McKenzie Falker 12 and Jacquez ten. Toth added four blocks, two solo.
