  • Moen, Edwards, Towns Earn All-MWC Honors on First Day of MWC Outdoors

    The Beloit College Track & Field squad had three members earn All-Midwest Conference honors on the first day of the 2010 MWC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, being hosted by Illinois College.

    Erika Moen finished second in the Discus for the highest Buccaneer finish, tossing the disc 123'7. Amani Edwards was third in the Hammer Throw with an effort of 145'1 and Travis Towns was third in the Javelin with a toss of 180'9.

  • Buccaneers Use Badger Twilight as Final Tuneup for MWC Meet

    The Beloit College Track & Field used the highly competitive Badger Twilight Open on Saturday as the final tune-up before next weekend's Midwest Conference Outdoor Championships.

    The non-scoring meet ended late on Saturday night.

    The Beloit College Track & Field team competed at the annual Wisconsin Private Schools Meet, this year held at Carroll University, with the Women's squad finishing fifth and the Men sixth.

    After a long break, the Beloit College Track & Field team finally got back out on the track, competing at the University of Chicago Ted Hayden Classic on Saturday.

    Both teams finished third out of 11 competing teams.

  • Davendonis Wins 800m; Women 4th, Men 9th at MWC Indoors

    Josh Davendonis won the Conference Championship in the 800m to pace the Beloit College Indoor Track & Field team as the Midwest Conference Indoor Championships concluded at Knox College on Saturday.

    The Buccaneer Women finished fourth in the meet while the Men were ninth. Monmouth College won both the Men's and Women's team championships.

  • Schurr, Daniels, Women's Sprint Medley Earn All-MWC Honors

    Katie Schurr, Ellie Daniels, and the Women's Sprint Medley Relay team earned All-Conference honors as day one concluded at the Midwest Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in the T. Fleming Fieldhouse at Knox College on Friday.
