Waukesha, WI -- The Beloit College Track & Field team had their final tune-up before next weekend's Midwest Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships -which will be held at Karris Track & Field at Strong Stadium - at the non-scoring Carroll University May Invite.
Felicia Carlson broke her own school record in both the 100m and 200m while Rachel Monroe grabbed the top spot in the Triple Jump and Matt Floyd won the Pole Vault to lead the Bucs.
Carlson ran a :12.63 in the 100m to top her previous mark of :12.67 set several weeks ago and ran a :25.81 in the 200m to eclipse the :26.14 she ran at last week's Beloit Relays.
Monroe went 35' 2 1/2" to capture the Triple Jump and Floyd soared 13' 7 1/4" in the Pole Vault.
Earning second-place finishes were Catherine Cochran in the 400m; Erika Moen in the Discus; and Peter Siess in the 400m.
Bringing home thirds were Alex Hinck in the 400m; Nadia Hecker-O'Brien in the 800m; Camilla Jackson in the 400m Hurdles; Mat Kahl in the Long Jump; and Jason Busack in the Javelin.
The Outdoor Championships begin next Friday at 12:30 pm and continue on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.
