Lisle, IL -- The Beloit College Track & Field team competed at the Benedictine University Eagle Invite on Saturday, with the Men finishing tenth and the Women 17th.
Kenny Williams led the Men's squad with a first-place finish in the 400m Hurdles and a fifth-place finish in the High Jump.
Others scoring points for the Men were Travis Towns, second in the Javelin; Darth Winkler, third in the Discus; Myles Schneider, sixth in the Hammer; and the 4x400m Relay team of Aaron Joiner, Williams, Matel Jungwirth and Peter Siess finishing eighth.
Amani Edwards had the top Women's finish with a fifth in the Shot Put.
Also scoring points for the Women were Karen Jones, seventh in the 3000m Steeplechase; Elizabeth Peckham, seventh in the Pole Vault; Erika Moen, seventh in the Discus; and the 4x100 Relay team of Carly Clippinger, Alex Hinck, Cherrelle Phon and Jada Viner, who finished eighth.
The Bucs will stay at home next Saturday for the first time in 15 years when they host the Beloit Open at Karris Track at Strong Stadium. Action begins at 11:30 a.m.
