Buccaneers Open Indoor Season at Tough Carthage Invite

Kenosha, WI -- The Beloit College Track & Field team got their 2012 indoor season going on Saturday, competing at the Carthage College Invite. 

Going up against a number of ranked teams on both the Women's and Men's sides, the Women finished tenth and the Men 11th. 

Amani Edwards posted the top individual performance for the Bucs, taking third in the Shot Put and fourth in the Weight Throw.

The Men's 4x200m Relay squad of Peter Siess, Matt McKay, Stephen Heinz and Aaron Joiner finished fourth.

Beloit continues its early season next Saturday at the UW-Whitewater Rocky Rococo Invite.  Action begins at 10:30 a.m.
