Buccaneers Compete at Highly Competitive Keck Invite

Bloomington, IL -- The Beloit College Indoor Track & Field team ran into some very good competition at the Bob Keck Invite at Illinois Wesleyan University on Saturday.

The Men's team finished 13th of 18 teams while the Women were 15th of 16 squads.

The Women's points came from the fifth-place Distance Medley Relay, which consisted of Camilla Jackson, Keira Hayes, Elizabeth Horen and Geneva Schulz-Welo.

For the Men Terrance Steward brought home two fifth-place finishes in the 55m and the 200m.  The other points came from the fifth place Distance Medley Relay team of Peter Siess, Malcolm Yates, Aaron Joiner and Eric Koenig.

The Buccaneers are back in action next Saturday at the Knox College Invite in Galesburg, Illinois.  Action begins at 10:00 a.m.
