Kenosha, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team brought home a pair of fourth-place finishes in the final team standings at the annual Wisconsin Private Colleges Meet, held at Carthage College on Saturday.
Shaunte Moss and Dana Olesch brought home the top individual finishes for Beloit on the day with Moss taking second in the 100 Breast and Olesch touching second in the 100 Fly. John Kamada had the top Men's finish with a third in the 400 IM.
Other top eight individual finishers included Moss, fourth in the 200 Breast; Kamada, fourth in the 200 Breast; Will McAneny, fourth in the 400 IM; Kamada, fifth in the 200 IM; Olesch, fifth in the 200 Fly; Arthur Staub, sixth in the 500 Free; Nora Holte, sixth in the 200 Breast; Austin Smith, sixth in the 400 IM; Amalia Dolan, sixth in the 1650 Free; Olesch, seventh in the 200 IM; McAneny, seventh in the 100 Free; Hannah Devereaux, seventh in the 1650 Free; Matt Sherrell, seventh in the 1650 Free; Spencer Moore, eighth in the 100 Back; Staub, eighth in the 200 Free; Laurel Marshall, eighth in the 200 Breast; and Charlie Hawks, eighth in the 200 Back.
The Men's 200 Free Relay of McAneny, Staub, Kamada and Smith was second and the Women's 200 Free Relay of Holte, Moss, Olesch, and Gina Widmer was third. Both the Women's 800 Free Relay of Emma Frothingham, Alicia Hoffman, Hannah Richter and Haleigh Thomas and the Men's 800 Free Relay of Sherrell, Moore, Hawks and Kyle May were fourth; the Women's 200 Medley Relay of Anna Freyfogle, Marshall, Hoffman and Thomas was fifth; and the Men's 200 Medley Relay of Moore, Hawks, May, and Sherrell was sixth.
The Buccaneers host Knox College next Saturday in the home and regular season finale at Kresge Natatorium. Action begins at 1:00 p.m. with the Senior Day presentation followed by the dual meet.
