Bucs Sweep Double Dual at Illinois College

Buccaneer Swimming & DivingJacksonville, IL -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team made a long Saturday morning drive well worth it with a sweep of a double dual with Illinois College and Millikin University.

The Buccaneer Women defeated IC 113-72 and Millikin 107-87 while the Men top the Blueboys 122-46 and MU 101-84.

Shaunte Moss and Will McAneny both had double wins on the day, with both also contributing to a Relay win.

Moss won the 200 IM and 200 Breast while also swimming the second leg of the winning 400 Medley Relay.  McAneny won the 50 and 100 Free while leading off the 400 Free Relay.

Touching the wall first in individual events for the Bucs were Nora Holte in the 200 Free; Dana Olesch in the 200 Fly; and John Kamada in the 200 Back.

Also on the Women's 400 Medley Relay winner were Madeline Krass, Moss, Olesch and Holte while the Men's 400 Free Relay was made up of McAneny, Kamada, Arthur Staub and Austin Smith.

The Buccaneers head to Ripon College next Saturday for a dual with the Red Hawks.  Action begins at 1:00 p.m.
