Bucs Get Back in Pool with Dual Win over Illinois College

Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team got back in the water for the first time in over a month and made it count with a dual win over Illinois College at Kresge Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.

The Women won 143-77 and the Men recorded a 102-86 decision.

Dana Olesch paced the squad with three event wins, taking the 100 and 200 Fly and the 500 Free.  Shaunte Moss, Haleigh Thomas and John Kamada all recorded a pair of victories.  Moss won the 400 IM and 200 Breast; Thomas took the 200 and 100 Free; and Kamada won the 400 IM and 200 Breast.

Also posting wins were Emily Canney in the 100 Back; Sara Pyle in the 1650 Free; Will McAneny in the 100 Free; Madeline Krass in the 200 Back; and Greg Schalla in the 200 Back.

The Buccaneers now look ahead to a double weekend next Friday and Saturday, competing at Loras College in Dubuque at 6:30 on Friday night before hosting UW-Oshkosh in Kresge on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
