Kenosha, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team competed at the Wisconsin Private Schools Meet at Carthage College in Kenosha on Saturday, with the Women taking fourth and the Men fifth.
Beth Remington scored a third in the 200 Breast and Greg Schalla was third in the 200 Back to lead the individual place-winners for the Bucs.
Also scoring points for the Beloit Women were Nora Holte, fourth in the 200 Free, fifth in the 100 Free and seventh in the 50 Free and 1650 Free; Remington was also fourth in the 100 Breast; Gina Widmer, fifth in both the 100 and 200 Breast; Julianne Angeli, fourth in the 200 Fly and 400 IM; Griselle Quinones, sixth in the 200 Fly; Cherrelle Phone, eighth in the 200 Fly; and Laurel Marshall, fifth in the 400 IM and eighth in the 200 Breast.
The Women's 200 Medley Relay of Madeline Krass, Remington, Angeli and Phon was fourth, as was the 400 Free Relay of Krass, Megan Mason, Widmer and Haleigh Thomas. The Women's 200 Free Relay of Phon, Chale Turner, Alicia Hoffman and Quinones was fifth.
Scoring points for the Men were Arthur Staub, fifth in the 50 Free, seventh in the 200 Free and eighth in the 100 Free; Will McAneny, sixth in the 50 and 100 Free and 400 IM; Schalla also earned a fifth in the 1650 Free and a seventh in the 100 Free; Paden Dubois was seventh in the 200 Breast; Ike Watson was seventh in the 1650 Free; and Gabe Saslow was eighth in the 1650 Free.
The Men's 400 Free Relay team of Richard Cotter, Watson, Saslow and Tyler Senz was fourth and the 200 Free Relay foursome of Cotter, Watson, Matt Sherrell and Senz was sixth.
Beloit closes out its regular season by hosting Knox College and Carroll University next Saturday for Senior Day in Kresge Natatorium. Action begins at 1:00 p.m.
