Buccaneers Score Eight Firsts at Loras Dual

Dubuque, IA -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team brought home eight first-place finishes from their dual meet at Loras College on Saturday afternoon.

Loras won both ends of the meet, taking the Women's 103-86 and the Men's 108-71.

Grabbing top finishes for the Women were Nora Holte in the 200 Free and Kate Wolf in the 500 Free.  The 200 Free Relay team of Beth Remington, Aria Walsh-Felz, Kendall Stauffacher and Connie Meltzer also record a first-place finish.

For the Men Patrick Duvall won both the 200 IM and the 100 Back.  Ike Watson took the 500 Free and Keith Olson touched the wall first in the 100 Breast.  The 200 Free Relay team of Arthur Staub, Christopher Koch, Watson and Duvall also won.

The Buccaneers compete at the Wisconsin Private School Meet next Saturday at Carthage College in Kenosha.  Action begins at 1:00 p.m.
