Buccaneers Get Back in the Pool, Women Tie, Men Fall

Beloit, WI -- It's been a while but the Beloit College Swimming & Diving team finally got back in the water on Friday night at the Kresge Natatorium, hosting Carroll University in a dual.

The Women's side of the meet ended in a draw, 86.5-86.5.  The Carroll Men topped the Bucs 91-80.

Emily Law and Kate Wolf got wins for the Women, with Law taking the 200 Fly and Wolf the 500 Free.  Wolf also came within .68 seconds of setting a new 400 IM school record while finishing second in the event.

For the Men, Patrick Duvall won two events, touching first in the 50 Free and 200 Fly.  Greg Schalla won the 200 Free and Arthur Staub took the 100 Free.

The Bucs hit the road next Friday, swimming a dual at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.  Action begins at 6:00 p.m.
