Dave DeGeorge

Head Baseball Coach
Dave DeGeorge took over the Buccaneer Baseball program prior to the 1991 season.
In 2009 he led the Bucs to their first-ever Midwest Conference Championship while also capturing the MWC Tournament title and a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The squad set or tied 50 team or individual records during the season, including setting a new standard with a 14-game winning streak.
A 1989 graduate of Beloit College, DeGeorge has recorded over 275 victories in his career, more than any other coach in the college’s long baseball history. He has the fifth-most victories in Midwest Conference history and has recorded over 50% of Beloit’s all-time victory count on the baseball diamond.
Under his tenure, almost every individual and school record has been established, and over 40 of his players have been named First Team All-Midwest Conference. Beloit has advanced to the MWC Tournament five times under DeGeorge’s guidance.
DeGeorge has developed and operates the Buccaneer Baseball Camp for talented high school players during the Winter. He is also the co-coordinator of the Beloit College Youth Sports Camp during the Summer months.
