The Beloit College Softball team couldn't get past dropping a tough opener and fell twice to UW-Platteville on Thursday at the Strong Complex Softball Field 3-2 and 9-1.

The ten Midwest Conference Softball teams are joining hands with the National Foundation for Cancer Research to participate in a national campaign entitled “Beat Cancer with a Bat.”

The Beloit College Softball team jumped into Midwest Conference play with both feet on Saturday against Lawrence University at the Strong Complex Softball Field, sweeping the doubleheader 3-0 and 13-5.

The Beloit College Softball team had a split with North Central College within their reach at the Strong Complex Softball Field on Thursday before a late rally pulled it away.  The Cardinals headed home with 9-0 and 5-2 wins.

The recent days of rain plus temps more likely for early February than late March have postponed several scheduled events for Beloit College teams this weekend.

Things started well for the Beloit College Softball team in their home opener on Saturday at the Strong Complex Softball Field.  But things turned sour early in a 13-2 loss to Judson University.

The Beloit College Softball team fought through a long last day on the Spring Trip, falling three times to finish up 2-7 at the Rebel Spring Games.

The Bucs lost to Albion 2-0, Simpson 15-0 and Bluffton 8-0 on Friday.

The Beloit College Softball team has a second, though unwanted, off day on Thursday. 

The Beloit College Softball team dropped a pair of games on their third day of the Rebel Spring Games Wednesday, falling to Thomas More College of Kentucky 4-0 and 12-4 to Aurora University.
