Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Track & Field team enjoyed the home turf over the weekend, grabbing five first-place finishes in the Beloit Relays at Karris Track & Field at Strong Stadium.
The Women's team finished fourth while the Men were fifth.
For the Women Felicia Carlson won the 100m, Ellie Waddle the 800m, and Emma Koenig the 5000m while the 4x100m Relay team of Rasheda Hughes, CJ Cochran, Angie Earley and Carlson also crossed the line in first.
For the Men the 4x400m Relay team of George Gray, Peter Siess, Jacob Gray and Matt Kreiser posted a win.
Also earning medals for the Buccaneer Women were Carlson, second in the 200m; Emily Sneed, second in the 10000m; the Women's 4x800m Relay of Koenig, Camilla Jackson, Kelsi Brooks and Waddle were second; The Women's 4x200m relay of Earley, Waddle, Cochran and Carlson and the 4x400m Relay of Waddle, Cochran, Carlson and Jackson were both third.
Also earning medals for the Beloit Men were George Gray, second in the 800m; Jacob Gray, second in the 5000m; Mateo Lauersdorf, second in the Javelin and third in the Shot Put; and Siess, third in the 400m.
Seniors Jackson, Ariel Yang, Ethan Ley, Litofsky, Cochran, Brooks, Lauersdorf, Carlson, Siess and Quinn Crawford all competed in their final meet at Strong Stadium
The Buccaneers have their final tune-up for the Midwest Conference meet next Saturday at the Carroll Invite. Action begins at 11:00 a.m. in Waukesha.
