Dubuque, IA -- The Beloit College Track & Field team traveled to the University of Dubuque Good Friday Open on Friday, with the Men finishing fifth in the team standings and the Women seventh.
Felicia Carlson won the 200m to pace the Women's team while Peter Siess finished second in the 400m and Ethan Ley was second in the 5000m to lead the Men.
Bringing home third-place finishes for the Women were Emma Koenig in the 800m and Ellie Waddle in the 1500m. Sara DeLong and Emily Sneed earned points with a fifth and sixth-place finish, respectively, in the 800m. Bothe the 4x100m and 4x400m Relays ran third.
On the Men's side, Jacob Gray took third in the 1500m; Josh Litofsky was fourth in the 5000m and DeWight Walker fourth in the Triple Jump; Alberto Torres was fifth in the 5000m; Crit Stanley was sixth in the Pole Vault; and seventh-place finishes went to Siess in the 200m, George Gray in the 1500m and Khusrav Mahkamov in the 5000m. The 4x400m Relay team was fifth and the 4x100m Relay was sixth.
The Bucs now turn their attention to the lone home meet of the season - the Beloit Relays. The two-day event begins Friday night at 5:00 p.m. and continues on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
