Tom Slusher, a senior midfielder for the Beloit College Men's Soccer team from Mt. Prospect, Illinois/Prospect, has earned Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for the week ending October 9.

The Beloit College Men's Soccer team has gotten hot, posting their third straight Midwest Conference win and the fourth in five matches on Saturday afternoon at the Strong Complex Soccer Field in a 4-1 victory over St. Norbert College.

The match was designated as part of the Midwest Conference's "Play for the Cure" Day.

Beloit College has added Tami Magner to the position of assistant softball coach and marketing and promotions director for the Beloit College Athletic Department. Magner’s position is a two year grant sponsored position through the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minority and Women’s internship program.
