Grinnell, IA -- The Beloit College Track & Field team completed their regular season on Saturday at the Midwest Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, with the Women finishing eighth and the Men ninth in the team race.
Felicia Carlson repeated her championship from last year in the 100m and added the 200m title while being named one of the five Female Performers of the Meet. She also finished fourth in the Long Jump, ran the anchor leg for the sixth-place 4x100m Relay and the third leg of the sixth-place 4x400m Relay.
Mateo Lauersdorf and Matt Kreiser recorded the top finishes for the Men, with Lauersdorf ending up fifth in the Javelin and Kreiser fifth in the 400m Hurdles.
Also scoring points for the Women were Emma Koenig, seventh in both the 10000m and 5000m; Ellie Waddle, fourth in the 800m and seventh in the 1500m; and Sara DeLong, sixth in the 300m Steeplechase.
The Women's 4x100m team of Angie Earley, Jourdan Plautz, CJ Cochran and Carlson and the 4x400m Relay of Waddle, Cochran, Carlson and Camilla Jackson were both sixth.
For the Men Peter Siess was seventh in the 400m; Josh Litofsky seventh in the 3000m Steeplechase; and George Gray seventh in the 800m.
The Men's 4x400m Relay of Kreiser, Gray, Brian Alcorn and Siess was eighth.
