Whitewater, WI -- The Beloit College Track & Field teams continued their early-season work on Saturday at the UW-Whitewater Karl Schlender Invite, with the Men finishing fourth and the Women sixth.
Josh Litofsky led the Men's individual performances with a second-place finish in the 5000m. Other top-eight finishers were: Peter Siess, third in the 400m; Josh Smith, third in the 5000m; Quinn Crawford, fourth in the 5000m; George Gray, fifth in the 800m; Crit Stanley, seventh in the Pole Vault; and Adam Beardsley, eighth in the Mile.
The Men's Distance Medley Relay of Bennett Anderson, Jacob Gray, George Gray and Ethan Ley was second; the Men's 4x200m Relay of Matt Kreiser, Siess, Antonio Jones and George Gray was third; and the Men's 4x400m Relay quartet of Kreiser, George Gray, Siess and Jordan Garcia was fourth.
For the Women, Felicia Carlson was second in the 60m and third in the 200m. The Women's Distance Medley Relay of Ellie Waddle, Alex Kurpiel, Emily Sneed and Camilla Jackson was third and the 4x400m Relay of Waddle, Carlson, Jackson and CJ Cochran was fourth.
The Bucs travel to Monmouth, Illinois, next Saturday for the Monmouth College Midwest Invite. Action begins at 10:45 a.m.
