Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team played chest-to-chest with Concordia University of Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon at the Strong Complex Soccer Field. But an early goal spelled the difference in a 1-0 loss.
The Falcons got the lone goal of the game following a corner kick 14:32 into the match, which prove to be the game-winner. The Buccaneers had their best chance midway through the second half when Julian Baker let rip with Beloit's only shot of the match, but the boot went wide right.
BJ Kiser made eight saves in net for the Bucs, who were out-shot 16-1 despite allowing just the one goal.
Beloit looks to get into the win column on Wednesday when they host Milwaukee School of Engineering at the Strong Field beginning at 4:30 p.m.
