Buccaneer Track & Field Opens Outdoor Season at Knox

Galesburg, IL -- With the UW-Oshkosh Invite cancelled due to still excessive snow cover, the Beloit College Track & Field team turned to the Knox College Outdoor Open to begin their outdoor season.

The meet was non-scoring.

Felicia Carlson won three events to lead the way, taking the 100m, 200m and Long Jump. 

Also posting wins for the Women were Karly Clippinger in the 100m Hurdles and Camilla Jackson in the 400m Hurdles.

For the Men Peter Siess won the 400m; Matthew Kreiser the 400m Hurdles; Matt McKay the 3000m Steeplechase; and Matt Floyd the Pole Vault.

The Buccaneers travel to Waukesha next Saturday for the Carroll University Invite.  Action begins at 10:30 a.m.
