Monmouth, IL -- The Beloit College Track & Field team finished their indoor season on Saturday at the Midwest Conference Indoor Championships, with the Women ending up eighth and the Men tenth.
Felicia Carlson set a pair of school records to highlight the Beloit effort, finishing second in both the 60m in :07.89 and the 200m in :25.65. She broke her own records set earlier this season in both events.
Also scoring points for the Women on Saturday were Nadia Hecker-O'Brien, sixth in the 800m; Erika Moen, eighth in the Weight Throw; and the 4x400m Relay of Hecker-O'Brien, Sudan Garner, Carlson and Rachel Monroe in seventh.
The relays got the Men's points on Saturday, with the Distance Medley team of Josh Litofsky, Peter Siess, George Gray and Matt McKay finishing eighth, as did the 4x400m Relay of Siess, Gray, Lukeson Versulien and Matthew Kreiser.
On the opening day Friday the Women's 4x200m Relay team of Carlson, Monroe, Hecker-O'Brien and Garner had the best finish of the day for Beloit with a fifth.
Also getting points for the Buccaneers were Matt Floyd, eighth in the Pole Vault and Carlson, eighth in the Long Jump.
The Women's Sprint Medley Relay of Monroe, Sian Cunningham, Garner and Hecker-O'Brien was sixth while the Men's Sprint Medley Relay of Versulien, Mat Kahl, Siess and Gray and the Men's 4x200m Relay team of Kahl, Kreiser, Versulien and Siess were both eighth.
