Ripon, WI -- Shaunte Moss, a freshman from Nassau, Bahamas (Kingsway Academy) and Will McAneny, a sophomore from Santa Cruz, California, gave the Beloit College Swimming & Diving team a sweep of the Midwest Conference Swimmer of the Week awards for the week ending December 9.

Moss set a new Beloit 100 Breast record with a winning time of 1:11.07, breaking the previous mark of Xiaoyue Ma from 2005. She also won the 200 IM in 2:25.53 and swam the second leg on the winning 400 Medley Relay in the Beloit Triangular with Carroll University and UW-River Falls last Saturday.

McAneny won two events, the 50 and 100 free, and was the lead leg in the winning 400 Free Relay at the Triangular. He took the 50 freestyle event in 23.14 seconds and the 100-freestyle in 50.83 seconds.

It's the second Swimmer of the Week honor for the Men's team and the first for the Women's team this season.

The Buccaneers are now off until Saturday, January 12, when they host Illinois College in Kresge Natatorium.
