Ripon, WI -- Greg Schalla, a senior from West Bend, Wisconsin (East) competing for the Beloit College Swimming & Diving team, has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for the week ending October 28.
Schalla won both the 200 Free (1:54.92) and 500 Free (5:23.54) as the Buccaneers opened their 2012-13 season last Saturday vs. Lawrence at Kresge Natatorium. He also swam the third leg on the 200 Medley Relay.
The Bucs travel to Carroll University for a dual meet this Saturday. Action begins at 1:00 p.m.
