October 24, 2012 at 6:45 pm

Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team saw Monmouth College score two second-half goals to spoil their home finale and Senior Day 3-1 at the Strong Complex Field on Wednesday.

Erin Chambers, the Bucs' lone senior, played her final home game in the match.

The Fighting Scots jumped on top just under eight minutes into the game.  But Beloit tied it at 1-all with 15 minutes left in the half on Caitlin Paterson's penalty kick, her third in the last three matches.  The goal made it 1-1 at the half.

The game remained tied through the first 25 minutes of the second half until Monmouth converted off a corner kick to take the lead at 71:45.  They added an insurance goal five minutes later to close out the scoring.

The Bucs close out their 2012 season on Saturday when they play Lawrence University in Appleton.  Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m.
