September 29, 2012 at 8:28 pm

Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team gave up three first-half goals and couldn't rebound in the second half of a 4-0 Midwest Conference loss to St. Norbert College on Saturday at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.

The Green Knights struck two in the first 18 minutes for all the scoring they'd need.  They added a third goal in the last five minutes of the half to lead 3-0 at the break.  SNC closed out the scoring with a penalty kick score at the 59-minute mark of the second half.

St. Norbert held the shots advantage 14-5.  Cheyenne Kern made three saves in relief of Willow Macy, who had two saves.

The Bucs are right back on the pitch on Sunday when they host Ripon College in a 1:00 p.m. match at Strong.
