Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team got a pair of first half goals from Jackson Wilkins and made them stand up in a scoreless second half for a 2-1 win over Lake Forest College at the Strong Complex Soccer Field on Tuesday.
Wilkins opened the scoring at 13:18 before the Foresters tied it up at 21:52. But Wilkins tallied his second goal ten minutes later to give Beloit a lead they wouldn't lose.
LFC out-shot the Buccaneers 7-4 in the second half and 11-10 for the game but the defense held on. BJ Kiser had three saves in net for the win.
The Bucs have a big weekend ahead, hosting St. Norbert College on Saturday and Ripon College Sunday. Both games start at 3:00 p.m.
