Beloit/Green Bay, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Tennis team enjoyed a home match on Saturday and then made a long trip on Sunday to finish the weekend 1-2.
The Bucs shut out Monmouth College 9-0 at the Strong Complex Tennis Courts on Saturday. On Sunday they traveled to the Green Bay Tennis Center, dropping a 7-2 Midwest Conference North Division match to St. Norbert College before being shut down by Lake Superior State University 9-0.
Emma Beck at #4 Singles and Maria Mears and Beck at #2 Doubles recorded the points against St. Norbert.
Beloit has a match at Rock Valley College on Wednesday before hosting Ripon College and Knox College next Saturday for Homecoming. Action begins Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
