Buccaneers Drop Tight Match in MWC Opener

Waukesha, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team dropped a close 1-0 match at Carroll University on Wednesday night in the Midwest Conference opener.

The Pioneers scored the game's lone goal just over five minutes in and made it stand up for the remaining 84-plus minutes.

Beloit trailed in shots 15-7.  BJ Kiser had seven saves in net for the Bucs.

The Buccaneers continue play in the MWC on Saturday when they play Cornell College in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.  Kickoff is at 3:00 p.m.
